About Beth Messiah

Who We Are

Beth Messiah Synagogue is a messianic congregation of Jewish and non-Jewish people who worship in a Jewish context and believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the promised Messiah. Come join us for our extensive and in-depth teachings and our praise & worship during Shabbat services.

Our first Erev Shabbat service was held on September 9, 1977. In 1979 we became a charter member of the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations (UMJC) and became affiliated with the International Messianic Jewish Alliance (IMJA).

In the Spring of 2000, we moved to our present location at 7130 Granby St. in Norfolk. In December 2008, we completed a major interior renovation in the sanctuary. The building was formerly owned by Norfolk Christian Elementary School.
